Duong
Duong is the heart of warmth and gentleness in our relationship. She has a naturally caring soul and finds true joy in taking care of people. Whether it’s organizing a gathering, welcoming friends and family, or making sure everyone feels comfortable and included, Duong does it with ease and sincerity. Her many years of experience in the hospitality world have shaped her love for hosting, attention to detail, and genuine passion for creating meaningful moments together.
Jo
Jo lives by the motto work hard, play harder. He is highly organized, detail oriented and structured, yet at the same time fun, social and easy to be around. Jo has an old‑school mindset and style, especially when it comes to values, standards and respect — qualities he strongly believes in and lives by every day. His drive and discipline are perfectly balanced by his love for enjoying life, good company and unforgettable experiences.
We met in the beginning of 2015 in Nha Trang, Vietnam, during Jo’s journey through Asia. What started as a fate encounter quickly grew into a shared life adventure.
We lived almost two years in Saigon, a period that deeply shaped our lives and worldview. From the mountains of Sapa, the romance of Da Lat, the charm of Hoi An and Hanoi, to travels across South Korea, Japan, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Cambodia.
Our story is not only defined by where we have been, but especially by who we are and how we complement one another.
Together, we form a partnership built on care, warmth, strength and joy. We love bringing people together, celebrating life, and sharing moments that truly matter. This celebration in Vietnam is not just about marking ten years of marriage — but also about celebrating who we are and the journey we continue to share.
On 6 August 2016, we said “I do” in Schilde, Belgium. Ten years later, we return to where it all began: Nha Trang. Not to get married again, but to celebrate — love, life, family, and the people who have been part of our journey.
Our greatest joy along the way has been becoming a family of four with our two sweet boys, James and Jake. They are the heart of our family, the fruits of our love tree and a daily reminder of what truly matters.
The Festivities
In August 2026, we warmly invite you to join us in Vietnam to celebrate 10 years of marriage. We will be celebrating with two separate events, for which individual registration is required via the confirmation page on this website.
Monday, the 3rd of August 2026
We begin our anniversary week with a relaxed and warm (in many ways) White Party, all about togetherness, infused with positive energy and a festive atmosphere — the perfect start to our celebrations in Vietnam.
What to expect?
A laid‑back afternoon and evening with music, food & drinks and joy — the perfect moment to connect and kick off the festivities together.
